We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. You'd think the movie's producers could create a girl who didn't look like a cheapened version of an existing character.
But enough of that: This is gorgeous work! You make Naruto and Shion a fantastic looking pair! And the baby is adorable -- is his eye color a cross between Naruto's and Shion's?
I'd call this crack, but you're so right, the movie made it out so that a stranger to the Naruto franchise would assume the two hook up in the future. I have a secret liking for the pairing as well...I just try not to get too into it because she's not a canon character and we'll never see her again.
And yes... He kinda DID promise that
